Terms of service
Last updated: [not set]
Template: needs review before launch
These terms cover your use of Merit Client (the “client”), this website and your account. The client is provided by [not set: legal name of the seller], [not set: country].
Not affiliated with Mojang
Merit Client is an independent modification for Minecraft: Java Edition. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You need your own legitimate copy of Minecraft. Your use of Minecraft remains subject to the Minecraft End User License Agreement and Usage Guidelines.
Licenses
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the client. You do not buy the software.
- Subscriptions last for each paid period (monthly or yearly) and renew until cancelled.
- Each license can be active on a limited number of computers at once, shown on the pricing page.
- Do not share, resell or publish your license key or the client files.
Servers and their rules
You are responsible for following the rules of every server you join. Server bans or other action taken by a server against your account are not grounds for a refund.
Ending a license
We may suspend or revoke a license if a payment is refunded or charged back, if the key is shared or resold, or if these terms are broken. [Describe your process and any notice you give.]
Payments
Orders are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller of record for your purchase. Its own terms apply to the payment. See the refund policy.
No warranty
The client is provided “as is”. Minecraft updates can break it until a new release is out. [Limitation of liability wording: to be written or reviewed by a qualified person for your country.]
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
